Bre-ex has pushed
ahead
with several unique construction projects by laying claim on unique
innovations in the construction industry.
- First company in
Ontario to introduce large diameter 48 inch steel water mains.
- Fixed a recurring
sinking
problem on Dearness Drive by laying beam underneath the sewer
line
and
using Styrofoam blocks to disperse the weight of the surface gravel
and pavement.
- Along with Huron
Construction, Bre-Ex built the first section of the 401's extension
into 3
lanes adjacent to the city of Woodstock in 1992.
- Glandbrook
Landfill:
rebuilt a new landfill site, which was once a failed dumpsite in need
of a
new leachate drainage system. Bre-ex designed a one of a kind system to
install
the leachate pipes 60ft deep without any workers having to work
in
the trench down at ground level. It was a system where the machines
laid the pipe, and no hands on requirements were needed.
